Mumbai 7/11: A Reaction

.......the one thing about wracking your brains infront of a PC...aka...working in the IT Industry is that there's seldom a day that you can catch the local in Mumbai before 7-8 PM...However, the fact that was distinct in everyone's eyes was...utter and absolute disgust coupled with anger. Who the hell targets the guy already struggling to get a mere foothold on the Mumbai local? What a SHAME!

If the same thing happened in any other country...there would have been reports of trauma induced syndromes...psychologists trying to tell people how to cope with lack of sleep or low morale and faith in the system...poor grades etc etc. But in India...and more specifically Mumbai...the people say, "...agar likha hoga toh kuch nahi kar sakte..."(if its meant to be, it is bound to happen)...and they go on another day of jostling and pushing. Call it our resilience or call it "majboori"(helplesness)... We cannot afford to sit and mourn for days. Being afraid and being scared to go for work is a luxury this country doesn't have.

Smiles 'n' Spirit...FOREVER...for its just another day in paradise...

yeah its a shame.........more so because the ppl affected are the poor ppl who have worked all the day and were looking forward to some rest n sleep.they must have not done anything so as to deserve such horrendous end.may god rest their souls in peace and give strength to those who have survived.going back to work is nothing else but a glimpse of our undying spirit and " come what may " attitude

Hey man truly said, being a Mumbaite I cant agree with u more.
The terrorists have shown their disgust by killing soft targets.
Nothing can disrupt the Mumbaikar, as they say they believe in the saying " The show must go on"

i agree wil you, but its easy to tell what can't be done, its so predictable and happened so many times that we know what our government will not do.
can we actually tell what can be done, i know that will take some time, but try this.....
